Summary Tab

The landing tab when opening an engagement. Provides an at-a-glance view of the engagement and its current status.

Engagement Details Card

Displays all engagement metadata entered during the wizard. Includes two action buttons:

  • Generate Report — Opens the report generation modal (see Reports)
  • Edit — Opens the Edit Engagement wizard with all fields pre-populated

The card shows: Project Name, Client, Scope Type, Start/End Dates, Consultant (name, title, email), Point of Contact (name, phone, email), Testing Start/End timestamps (populated once tools begin running), and the Engagement Directory path on disk.

Below the grid, a Tools row displays badges for every tool selected in this engagement.

Risk Overview

A horizontal bar chart and badge counters showing the distribution of findings by risk level. Updates in real time as tools discover vulnerabilities.

  • Counters: CRITICAL, HIGH, MEDIUM, LOW, INFO — each with a colored badge and numeric count
  • Bar: Proportional color segments representing each risk level's share of total findings
  • Total: Shown in the header as "N findings"

Testing Host Card

Displays information about the system running Crucible. Populated via the /api/system_info endpoint. Includes a Refresh button to re-query. Shows hostname, IP addresses, OS, kernel, and resource usage.

Tool Status Cards

A feed of per-tool status cards in the Activity Feed format. Each card shows:

  • Tool badge and name
  • Current status (idle, queued, running, paused, finished, error, killed)
  • Phase information (which phase the tool is currently executing)
  • Elapsed time
  • Finding count for that tool

Status updates arrive in real time via SocketIO. Cards are ordered by activity — running tools appear first.
