Multi-Device Collaboration
Simultaneous participation from multiple devices during physical assessments
How It Works
Real-time
Socket.IO Rooms
All devices viewing the same project share a room. Console output, prompts, findings, and status broadcast to everyone.
Mobile
QR Code Join
Testing tab displays QR codes for each network interface. Mobile devices scan to open a companion page for photo capture and prompts.
Context
Photo Context
Desktop Evidence tab sets a target module/instance so mobile photo uploads auto-file into the correct directory.
Shared
Prompt Collaboration
When Gearbox asks for input, the prompt appears on all connected devices. First response wins — useful for distributed teams.
History
Late Join
Devices joining mid-assessment receive the full console history and current state — no missed context.
