Summary Tab

Project overview dashboard with risk breakdown, progress metrics, and quick-access controls.

Overview

The Summary tab is the landing view when you open a project. It provides a high-level snapshot of the assessment's current state without requiring you to drill into individual tabs.

Project Details Card

Displays the project metadata entered during the wizard:

Field	Required	Description
Client	No	Client full name and short name.
Consultant	No	Tester name, title, and email.
Device Under Test	No	Device name, model number, and software version.
Assessment Dates	No	Start date, end date, and report version.
Project Directory	No	Full server-side path where all project data is stored.

Risk Overview

A breakdown of all findings by risk level. Displayed as colored badges matching the standard pr0t31n risk palette:

Critical	■ #FF00FF	Immediate exploitation possible with severe impact
High	■ #E7716F	Significant vulnerability requiring prompt remediation
Medium	■ #FFC000	Moderate risk, should be addressed in near term
Low	■ #92D050	Minor issue with limited impact
Informational	■ #BDD7EC	Observation or hardening recommendation, no direct exploit
Unknown	■ #a0aec0	Unclassified finding pending tester review

Module Progress

Shows completion status across all sub-devices and interfaces. Each interface's modules are tracked individually with a progress bar showing completed / total modules.

Modules that have been run show green, pending modules show gray, and modules currently in progress pulse. The overall project progress percentage is derived from these counts.

Targets Count

Displays the number of unique IP addresses discovered by Gearbox's network scanning modules (read from the discovered_hosts table in the project's SQLite database). This gives a quick sense of the device's network footprint.

Quick Actions

Buttons for common operations available directly from the Summary tab:

Start Gearbox action

Launch Gearbox against this project's YAML configuration. Equivalent to the Start button on the Testing tab.

Export JSON export

Download the complete project data as a structured JSON file (project metadata, findings, targets, evidence tree, module status).

Export ZIP export

Download the entire project directory as a ZIP archive, including all evidence files, databases, logs, and configuration.

Edit Project action

Open the Edit Project form to modify wizard fields (client info, device configuration, sub-devices, interfaces).

Reset Project danger

Clear all module progress statuses back to 'not started'. Does NOT delete evidence files or findings — only resets the progress tracking so modules can be re-run.

Delete Project danger

Permanently remove the project from Gauntlet's registry. Offers the option to also delete the project directory from disk.
